Wedding bells are ringing for my nephew Patrick and his bride, Sarah, today!
The wedding and reception are being held in New York City, and while I don’t yet have a photo of their cake (made by Sarah’s sister-in-law who is a pastry chef), I am sharing a photo of a Ladybug Luggage cake, made right in our backyard. (Note the cupcakes arrayed around a small cake, a big trend right now. I am told the cake design was inspired by the invitations from Paper Source in Princeton.)
Ladybug Luggage is part of the Cooperative Kitchen in Skillman, and owner Annette Villaverde’s sweet confections are among the most elegant I’ve ever seen (check out that website). And, oh yeah, they taste good too!
