I laughed outloud when I saw the Yardley Inn advertisement in the Packet print edition last Friday, and also found it on their website, so am showing the text below. So cute, and of course the “clincher” is the last bit about “the Vegans,” because those of us who plan events increasingly have to take special diets (of all sorts) into account. A well-rounded menu and the popularity of small plates has helped immensely, but it can still be a challenge in the traditional meal format, built around a main course with a big ol’ serving of protein front and center. But this is something that any caterer is used to nowadays, so it truly needn’t be cause for concern. Thank you Yardley Inn, I needed that laugh!
