JCC Princeton Mercer Bucks hosts a Jewish Heritage and “Noshing” Tour of New York’s Lower East Side on Sunday, May 16, 2010. The trip will include a visit to the historic Tenement Museum, an interactive tour of a family’s apartment set in 1916, and a guided walking tour of the Lower East Side . Along the way the group will “nosh” at rich culinary landmarks of the neighborhood offering Jewish specialties like knishes, bialys, pastrami, matzo, rugalach, pickles, challah, and much more.
