Finally! Trader Joe’s will open near Princeton this summer, at the mall on Meadow Road, across from Marketfair, on the northbound side of Rte. 1 (story in today’s Packet). This is, I believe a location they’ve looked at before, and I just have to think that with the economic downturn, it is finally at the right price for them. An awkward location, to be sure, but Trader Joe’s is a destination kind of place for upscale groceries at a gentle price if ever there was one!
