The season is upon us! Here is a quick, by no means complete, list of local farmers markets. Some are already open for the season, some not yet. Be sure to patronize your local market and support local farmers and producers. Plus, it’s a great way to buld community in your little piece of paradise!
Hopewell Community Farmers Market , Wednesdays 2-7pm, through Oct., in the parking lot next to the Railroad Station, off Greenwood Ave.
Lawrenceville Farmers Market, June 7-October 1. 16 Gordon Ave. (Gordon Fuel parking lot), Sundays 9am-1pm.
Montgomery Friends Farmers Market (montgomeryfriends.org; link not working at present). Starts June 13, through October 24. Saturdays from 9am to 1pm, Village Shopping Center, US HYW 206 (just north of 518), Skillman
Pennington Farmers Market, opens June 6 and runs every Saturday through mid-October, 9am-1pm, in the parking lot of Pennington Shopping Center, Route 31, Pennington
Trenton Farmers Market is open year round (with abbreviated hours and vendors in the winter). Summer hours – Tue. – Sat. 9-6, Sundays 10-4. 960 Spruce St., Lawrence Twp.
West Windsor Community Farmers Market. Started May 16, and continues each Saturday to late Oct./early Nov., from 9am to 1pm. Princeton Junction Train Station, Vaughn Drive parking lot (just off Alexander Rd.).
