Celebrate Valentine’s Day all weekend at the Rocky Hill Inn. For February 11-14, Chef Evan has prepared a special Three course prix-fixe menu for $65, which includes a Champagne toast and special Valentine gift. Plus, there’s a special chocolate and wine tasting on February 24: Roger Kissling, sommelier, Gallo & Co. will be talking about wines and artisinal chocolatier, Diane Pinder of Donna & Company will be discussing the world of chocolate ($55).

In Hopewell, the Brothers Moon serves their 10th annual “Aphrodisiac Menu” on Valentine’s Day. Just the choice of entrees alone makes my heart beat faster: Roasted chicken breast, grape and fennel seed farrotto, fontina fondue, or seared scallops with star anise dust, honey-roasted potato, spinach and red pepper aioli, or cocoa accented grilled lamb loin, cherry,mint-honey sauce and braised greens, pine nut cous-cous.
