Clam ChowderI am so glad I keep clams and clam juice in my pantry.  It’s like money in the bank, my father always says about the very Bahadurian trait of stockpiling food – although we do tend to overdo that!

I also had bacon, onions, milk, and potatoes on hand, so was able to make a very nice clam chowder spur-of-the-moment one Sunday evening, especially to take to work for office lunches during the upcoming week. I feel so righteous when I get it together to take lunch to work!
