The pizza margherita at left (margherita means basic tomato, mozzarella and basil) is from Nomad Pizza’s brick oven truck at the recent East Coast Food & Wine Festival. My friend and I shared it and enjoyed every bite.
But soon you won’t need to chase a truck around anymore when you want to enjoy their artisan pizza made with mostly locally sourced toppings.
They’re opening up a restaurant in the old Soupe de Jour location in Hopewell in a couple of weeks. Co-owner Tom Grim tells me they’ve done a ton of work on the place, and they’ll have outdoor patio seating, and a garden to they can grow some of their own ingredients. Stay tuned…
