Here’s a farm dinner for a good cause that is so reasonably priced, you may want to take the whole family.
And kids really are welcome, as there will be special activities for them during the event. On August 8 (4-8pm), TerraMomo Restaurant Group puts on the fourth annual Farm to Table dinner at Fernbrook Farms to benefit the Farm’s educational programs. The event emphasizes grilling and savoring fresh, locally grown produce.
The Farm is located at 142 Bordentown-Georgetown Road, Chesterfield. Tickets are $29 or $39 with wine tasting. Kids under 10 are free with adult. To reserve, call Eno Terra 609-497-1777.
The menu? TerraMomo chefs will be grilling up grass-fed meats and making good use of produce from the farm’s 230 acres of pristine farm land. The farm houses a CSA (community supported agriculture), nursery, B&B and the Education Center, the non-profit arm of Fernbrook that educates children and adults about agriculture, food and the environment.
Activities for the evening will include (besides dinner) a grilling seminar with Eno Terra Chef Chrisopher Albrecht, a wine seminar with Carlo Momo, a nature hike led by farm staff, hayrides, outdoor games for kid, a visit to meet and interact with Fernbrook’s gentle farm animals, and s’mores around the bonfire. Sweet!
This event was FABULOUS! The food was great, the music was wonderful, the events were engaging and the wine poured freely while good times were had by all! The whole family had fun!
That is great to hear, those TerraMomo folks always do put on a great event.
